It has been almost four years to the day that Mirriam Seddiq and Justin Eisele rushed to the Dulles Airport to assist those in the grip of the bigoted Muslim Ban.. UPDATE: It is over, Muslim Ban Lifted!
As a founding member of Dulles Justice, Mirriam served as an early spokesperson for the group. These lawyers offered not only their legal advice, but also their presence as statement “that hate has no home here.” Dulles Justice was a completely organic movement of volunteers that came together as a result of 1,000s of people desiring to defend the Constitution and human decency. Dulles Justice members spent hundreds of hours camped out at the airport.
Here we are, four years later and the Muslim Ban has just been lifted by President Biden! Yesterday, Mirriam was interviewed by WAMU on the recent lifting of the Muslim Ban. You can listen to the interview here.
