Mirriam Seddiq

Criminal, Immigration, Appellate Lawyer: That’s what I do! As a solo practicing attorney, I am hardworking and reliable. I pride myself on doing far more than the bare minimum, never discounting any possibilities in my clients cases until I have vetted every avenue for success or defense. Candid and frank, I will tell you the issues as I see them. My job isn’t to ‘make the client take a plea” rather to advise of every risk and option. I believe the final decision always lies with the client however, along the way, I provide the information for an informed decision.

I am a criminal defense attorney who also handles complex litigation in serious immigration cases. If you are coming to me, odds are that you are stressed out and experiencing one of the toughest times in your life. You hire me to ease your burdens. That is what I do. As we work toward victory, it is my responsibility to educate you and argue zealously on your behalf. The goal is simple: win. Read my reviews online and you will get an accurate picture of how I handle my business. I will never give up. I will make sure the judge and the prosecutor realize you are a human being, not just a list of criminal charges. I have handled hundreds of major federal cases and have criminal trial experience in state and federal court. Mirriam and I both believe that a great attorney can handle your case from beginning to end. We will be there at your bail hearing and can easily handle your appeal if it is necessary. I am the former President of the Arkansas Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys and I regularly advocate to members of Congress to reform our broken criminal justice system. Criminal justice is not just my job, it is my passion and obsession. I proudly practice out of our office in Upper Marlboro and take cases in every county of Maryland. I also am licensed in DC and can handle your case in Superior Court there, too.
